Crispy Oven-Baked Fries

2 Side Servings

Ingredients:
3 russet potatoes
1 tsp baking soda
Sea salt
Olive oil
Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water & baking soda to a boil.
Slice potatoes into half inch fries.
Add potatoes to boiling water and cook for 8 minutes. Drain carefully. Potatoes will be a little mushy on the outside.
Return potatoes to drained pot (this will remove all excess water from the potatoes. The pot will be hot and therefore remove excess moisture from the potatoes. This is an important step in getting them crispy!). Let sit for 5 minutes.
Carefully coat with olive oil & sea salt. Add to baking sheet in single layer.
Bake at 425 (F) for 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
Season to taste. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce!
